Pyrolytic Destructor

Honua's Proprietary Pyrolytic Destructor™ Systems

Honua offers three (3) Models of Pyrolytic Destructors as the optimum technology for destruction of pathological and chemotherapy waste stream components. They are the Model 550 (500 kg per day), Model 1200 (1000 kg per day) and Model 2500 (2000 kg per day). Honua’s Pyrolytic Destructors will literally serve as the heart of a centralized medical waste treatment facility.

The Model 2500 Pyrolytic Destructor has a mechanical loading system that allows the operator to easily charge the unit. Medical waste is placed into high temperature alloy steel (HTAS) carts that can withstand extreme operating temperatures of the Pyrolytic Destructor system. They will typically be located next to the Pyrolytic Destructor system. The HTAS carts will each hold 227 kg (500 pounds) of medical waste. Eight (8) HTAS carts are provided for each Model 2500. Four (4) will be in use in each Pyrolytic Destructor during each charge and the remaining carts can be loaded while the others are being processed. Each Model 2500 can process over 4,400 pounds of medical waste per day (approx. 2,000 kg/day).
